The sitting room has a working open fire, a large sofa bed which comfortably sleeps two, free wireless internet access throughout the house, Freeview Satellite TV, CD player and DVD player.
The conservatory has outstanding views to the west over Loch Inchard. It can be used as a breakfast room or dining area and has double doors which open out onto the garden, accessed down steps. Outside there is a picnic table and barbecue.
The kitchen is fully modernised and includes electric double oven cooker with gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge-freezer. There is a washing machine and separate tumble dryer in the utility room.
The bathroom has a combined bath and shower. IN addition to this upstairs bathroom, there is a downstairs toilet located just inside the rear door.
The double bedroom has views towards Loch Inchard and the sea. It has hanging space for clothes, bedside table and lamp and an electric blanket on the double (king size) bed.
The twin bedroom has views across the hills. It has hanging space for clothes, bedside table and lamp and an electric blanket on the beds.
Currently we let two properties, and one static caravan:
Inchardview, at Rhiconich
- A 2 bedroom semi-detached house in an isolated position overlooking Loch Inchard;
Clashview, at Kinlochbervie
- A 5 bedroom modern bungalow overlooking Loch Clash, sleeps up to 11;
and
- The static caravan, which sleeps up to 6, is located within Clashview's grounds, secluded from the main cottage.
In March 2024 we created the Sandwoodway Cottage Blairmore Trust and tbhis cottage is now managed by our noiminated beneficiary of the trust, Sophie Clark, and one of the trustees, Paula Macleod.
